Rising Tide présente son album éponyme, prêt à en surprendre plus d'un. Une base de reggae lourde laissant toujours plus de place à l'improvisation et aux rythmes jazzy parfois effrénés, parfois plus onctueux à l'image de Young Strong And Beautiful. Les pianos et cuivres sonnent terriblement jazz sur l'ensemble des 11 titres et que dire de la fin tonitruante du titre One And All ? Un bordel organisé, maîtrisé à la perfection par l'ensemble du groupe. Sur ce titre, le public français reconnaîtra la voix juvénile de Naâman qui livre une superbe prestation plutôt inattendue sur ce genre de musique. Jacob Hemphill, leader du groupe américain SOJA, se fait aussi entendre sur le plus pop Let It Out.
